Powder coating is a process that involves cleaning the item, sandblasting it to create an adhesion profile, and then applying a chemical pre-treatment for protection. After selecting a color, the powder is applied to the metal. The part is then placed in a curing oven for a certain period of time at a specific temperature. There, the powder flows into a liquid form and is cured into a hard protective coating. When the part cools, it is ready for use.
